Lupita Nyong'o was just named People Magazine's Most Beautiful Woman in the World! The Hollywood newcomer turned Oscar winner found herself on top of People Magazine's annual "Most Beautiful" list for 2014, landing her among other icons like Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Lopez and Beyonce who were previously given the title. Lupita stunned onlookers on every major red carpet this award show season, but let us just remind you that 12 Years a Slave was Hollywood's current it-girl's first major role! And that's what makes this accolade even sweeter. The 31-year-old actress calls the unexpected title a "major, major compliment," but also reveals to the magazine that she didn't always feel beautiful due to seeing girls with "light skin and long, flowing, straight hair" on TV. Now though, the Oscar winner's favorite compliments are QUOTE "when I have been called beautiful with not one drop of makeup on, and also before I comb my hair or put on a pretty dress." I was lucky enough to see Lupita on the Oscar's red carpet and I have to say that she looked like a modern day Cinderella and you could just feel a bubble of positivity all around her!
