Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad said that it was up to the Selangor state government to decide if they wanted to acquire the land on which the Seafield Sri Maha Mariamman Temple stands in USJ25 Subang Jaya.
He said this in response to a question on whether the federal government would consider the proposal to acquire the land and allow the temple to remain at the location.
