Mahathir's portrait fetches highest bid of RM4,900 at PH fundraiser

Five portraits of Pakatan Harapan’s big guns were sold at last night’s fundraising dinner for the opposition coalition for a grand total of RM16,700, with the painting of former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad fetching the highest price at RM4,900.
The paintings of both DAP parliamentary leader Lim Kit Siang and Amanah president Mohamad Sabu were each auctioned off for RM3,500, the second-highest price.
Pakatan Harapan de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim's portrait, which bear the signatures of his eldest daughter and PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah, was sold for RM3,000.
The portrait of the late DAP president Karpal Singh, which bears the signature of his son and Puchong MP Gobind Singh Deo, fetched RM1,800.
