Train stations are consider people places and everyone seems to be in a hurry all the time. But the next time you are in KL's Masjik Jamek LRT station take a slow pause and catch something different. On Tuesdays and Thursdays between 5-7 pm there is an open air performance on the upper concourse area featuring arts and culture from different local performers. This is the Arts On The Move (AOTN) programme, a community-focused, urban regeneration effort organized by Think City and Prasarana (the operators of the LRT) with a hope to enrich city life through arts and culture.

This troupe has been around for more than a decade, perfecting their classical dance performances with new age stage multimedia techniques and settings. The dance teacher Ms Sheela Raghavan says the theatre hopes to raise the awareness and standards of classical arts in Malaysia and welcomes children and adults of all ages and race. Check out their thrilling and rhythmic moves in this video and check them out at their Facebook page for all the details of their upcoming performances. Why not join their dance class !
