The Federal Court today dismissed the habeas corpus appeal brought by Bersih Chairperson Maria Chin Abdullah against her 11-day detention under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act (Sosma) last year.
The five-member Federal Court bench found no merits in the appeal and refused to rule whether the detention was illegal.
