The government plans to call in the makers of Massimo bread products for raising its prices.

Deputy Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Rosol Wahid said he wants an explanation from the breadmaker and what alternatives it can offer.

Both Massimo and Gardenia, two leading breadmakers in the market, have recently raised their prices.
