Education Minister Dr Maszlee Malik said on Saturday that the Cabinet has approved amendments to the Universities and University Colleges Act (UUCA) 1971, including Section 15(2)©, which has been infamous for curtailing students’ questioning of politicians.
Dr Maszlee said this after officiating the International Islamic University Malaysia’s 34th convocation ceremony.
