On Sunday, Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Mohamad Hasan told Rembau BN Youth members at an event in Kuala Sawah, Rantau to 'attack' and 'flip tables' at coffee shops frequented by people who slander the government.
The matter was brought up in Parliament today by Pokok Sena MP Mahfuz Omar. He asked Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department SK Devamany to respond to the matter.
However, Devamany refused to address the core issue raised by the Amanah MP. Instead, the MIC senator told Mahfuz to not spread fake news for personal gain.
According to news portal Free Malaysia Today, Mohamad Hasan has denied that he was being serious, saying it was merely a battle cry to motivate party workers to work hard.
