THIS IS SO FETCH! Entertainment Weekly brought the cast of Mean Girls together for a very special 10th anniversary reunion, and Clevver News has all the details.

No, your eyes are not deceiving you – that’s Lacey Chabert (Shay-bear), Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried, Lindsay Lohan, and Tina Fey all together again at last. Or, at least someone did some very crafty PhotoShopping to make it LOOK like they’re reunited, but either way, we’re not complaining!

And if you’re wondering why exactly they’ve all come together, it’s for Entertainment Weekly’s annual reunion issue, and the stars spilled a bunch of cool details about making the film and what being part of the Mean Girls phenomenon has been like for them.

Rachel McAdams, who played queen bee Regina George, opened up about her audition process saying this that she originally auditioned for Cady Heron, but the film’s director Mark Waters and producer Lorne Michaels thought she’d be better as Regina. And they DEFINITELY made the right choice.

Another fun secret Rachel revealed was how they pulled off the infamous scene with Regina’s “Cool Mom.” You know, the one where a dog is GNAWING at her fake boob? How exactly did they pull that off you might wonder? Rachel spilled all the details saying:
QUOTE “They, like, pinned a piece of a cocktail wiener into her bra. I thought this dog was going to tear her apart. It was very effective. She was such a pro through it. She’s trying to do her lines and being so professional, and this dog is chomping on her fake boob. I’ll never forget that.”

And neither will we. And since 2003 was the height of the Hilary Duff/Aaron Carter/Lindsay Lohan love triangle, Tina mentioned that Lindsay had tried to explain the beef between them all while they were shooting, but Tina had no idea what was going on. Also, just in case you needed any other evidence that this movie was made in the early 2000’s, Tina said that Lindsay was obsessed with getting pink Ugg boots throughout the entire movie shoot. Ah, those were the days.

Since Mean Girls was such a surprise hit, there was obviously sequel talk, but Tina mentioned how she kind of regrets not doing a follow up of some kind. During the interview, she said:
“At the time we did want to start the conversation about the sequel, and for whatever reason I was like, ‘No!!! We shouldn’t do that!’ Now I look back and I’m like, ‘Why?’ But now, no—it’s too late now.”

So does this mean there’s no chance for a Mean Girls sequel EVER??! You’re breaking out hearts, Tina. So I guess we’ll have to settle for this little reunion. Love that pic though!
