Menteri Besar Perak, Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad menyarankan supaya koperasi yang dimiliki dan diuruskan oleh masyarakat orang asli di negeri ini perlu lebih aktif bagi membantu kehidupan seharian masyarakat setempat.

Menurutnya, setakat ini terdapat 33 koperasi milikan dan diuruskan oleh masyarakat orang asli di Perak, namun hanya sebahagian sahaja yang sudah mencapai tahap stabil.

Katanya, sebahagian lagi masih belum mencapai sasaran yang ditetapkan dan beliau berharap koperasi-koperasi tersebut dapat mencontohi koperasi yang sudah berjaya. – MGPerak
