Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia (JBPM) Perak, bersiap siaga menggerakkan tiga pasukan khas ke negeri di Pantai Timur yang terjejas banjir susulan musim Monsun Timur Laut (MTL).

Pengarah JBPM Perak, Sayani Saidon berkata, tiga Pasukan Gerak Cepat berkenaan terdiri daripada anggota dari Balai Bomba dan Penyelamat (BBP) Bagan Serai, BBP Kuala Kangsar dan BBP Tapah.

Katanya, pasukan berkenaan juga terdiri daripada 13 anggota yang bertugas dalam tempoh tiga syif, serta dilengkapi dengan kenderaan utiliti, bot, lori, alat komunikasi, lampu serta jaket keselamatan. -MGPerak
