Miley Cyrus has taken Demi Lovato’s “Really Don’t Care” song to heart, posting a completely topless photo on Instagram Saturday night. Not so shockingly, it’s not up on the site anymore. I’m a little surprised Instagram didn’t fully suspend her account. Anyways, the photo was quite stunning actually- a black and white shot of Miley laying on a bed with one hand across her chest. But the hand doesn’t really cover any lady parts, with both nipples out and proud. Miley’s inspiration for the pic? The #FreeTheNipple campaign. She captioned her post, “Some lame ass deff gonna flag that but f-****** it. #practicewhatchupreach #FreeTheNipple”. Now, this isn’t the first time Miley has supported the cause which aims to end the media’s, “glorification of violence and repression of nudity.” On Saturday, Miley, aself-professed feminist, continued posting her photoshopped images also supporting the cause until she finally decided she needed to show a better example and free HER nipples. The photoshopped images included pizza nipples, Miley face as a baby on other bodies and more. Other celebs who famously support the cause include Cara Delevingne, Lena Dunham, Rihanna and more. But let’s have a real moment everyone: we’ve all seen nipples before and we’ve definitely seen Miley’s. So is this a big deal to you? Or are you proud that Miley’s supporting the cause?
