Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth Make First Public Appearance in 3 Years at Variety's Power of Women

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth step out in public for their first official appearance together in over 3 years!

On Friday, Liam Hemsworth supported fiance Miley Cyrus by attending Variety magazine’s 2016 Power Women luncheon in Beverly Hills together. Miley went girly wearing a frilly floral jumper while Liam donned a suit, and the couple posed for photos together. Making this their first official appearance in over 3 years! Annnnd their first appearance since reconciling their relationship in January of this year.
It seems the roles have reversed! Last time Miley and Liam posed as a couple was at Liam’s Paranoia movie premiere back in August 2013. This time, the actor is supporting HIS leading lady at an event where SHE is being honored. Miley received recognition for her work with the Happy Hippie Foundation alongside Hollywood A-Listers Laverne Cox, Helen Mirren, and Scarlett Johansson. The couple was seen being super affectionate while sitting together at the event, with Miley wrapping her arms around Liam and snapping selfies of the two.
And when Miley went up on stage to accept her award, Liam reportedly listened intently and laughed at Miley’s jokes which included her throwing Happy Hippie stickers into the crowd and saying, “...it’s like a strip club, but not as fun!” Miley professed how fortunate she was to share her recognition with other the women in the room, and ended her speech on a serious note saying, “To anyone who’s ever felt like they’re different or don’t fit in, I want you to take that as a victory and know you’re not alone. I want to send love into the universe because we desperately need it.” I don’t know about you guys, but WE love that MIAM is being public with their relationship, and that Miley is being honored for her charity work.
