Miley Cyrus and fiance Liam Hemsworth had an on-screen reunion on SNL, and even though it was brief, it was PERFECT.
Miley Cyrus was the musical guest on this weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live, hosted by Larry David, but her time on the iconic sketch comedy series didn’t stop at just a performance.
Miley was involved in two skits on SNL, one being The Price is Right: Celebrity Edition. The former Disney Channel star played Amanda, a contestant on the game show who was paired up with none other than Chris Hemsworth, who was played by cast member Alex Moffat (mah-fit). After the fake Thor actor introduced himself, Miley’s character couldn't help but swoon over his good looks. Chris let his partner know he is already happily married, but does have a brother.
The skit went on for a bit and then it was time for Chris and Amanda to make their bid. Chris got a little confused and phoned a friend who just so happened to be -- you guessed it -- Liam Hemsworth! And yes, it was the REAL Liam Hemsworth.
Miley also joined members of the SNL cast for a HILARIOUS music video called “The Baby Step,” where she literally played a rapping baby named Baby Snatch. We know that sounds super weird, but it’s Miley Cyrus we’re talking about...weird isn’t really in her vocabulary.
While Miley’s acting was definitely a highlight of the night, her performances were equally as incredible. The 24-year-old was probably expected to play hits like “Malibu” and “Younger Now,” but instead switched things up a bit and decided to perform some lesser-known songs from her most recent album. She started out with the first-ever live performance of an angsty track called “Bad Mood” and left fans both figuratively and literally shook with her powerful vocals.
Miley closed the night by playing “I Would Die for You,” an emotional love song most likely written with Liam Hemsworth in mind.
This was Miley Cyrus’ FOURTH appearance on Saturday Night Live, and she definitely did not disappoint. What did you think of Miley’s acting skills and performances? Tell us in the comments below and then click here to find out if she and Liam secretly got MARRIED. I’m your host Sinead De Vries, thanks for watching Clevver!
