Women, Family and Community Development Minister Rohani Abdul Karim apologised after complaints were aired over the poor treatment of those in need by the Welfare Department (JKM).
This was during a Transformasi Nasional 2050 (TN50) dialogue with the ministry yesterday, where welfare officers were accused of behaving like "cowboys".
Rohani apologised on behalf of the officers and reminded them to not bring along their personal issues, their stress or anger when dealing with clients
