In the span of a week, young U.S. midfielder Morgan Brian won the MAC Hermann Trophy as college soccer’s top player – for the second consecutive year – and was taken as the #1 pick in the 2015 NWSL Draft by the Houston Dash. We hear from Brian on the whirlwind week and from U.S. WNT assistant coach and Brian’s head coach at Virginia, Steve Swanson, as well as from Samantha Mewis, her long-time teammate on the USA’s youth National Team, who went fourth overall in the draft to the Western New York Flash.
