Mother Of Bullied Boy Keaton Jones SPEAKS OUT After Backlash

In case you missed, Keaton became a viral sensation yesterday when his heart melting video took over the internet. A GoFundME called “Stand up for Keaton” was created to support him and his family and it quickly racked up nearly 60-thousand-dollars. BUT after photos of his family emerged holding the confederate flag the money raising was put on halt. I should note that Keaton’s mom, Kimberly didn’t actually start the fundraising page herself. It was a man that says he has nothing to do with the family and only wants to help Keaton. BUT Keaton’s mom apparently also started her own GoFundMe page to supposedly raise money to buy Keaton gifts for the holidays. According to TMZ, this account was shut down by GoFundMe due to fraud concerns.
All of this said, Kimberly spoke out in regards to her social media posts with the Confederate flag.
"It was meant to be ironic and funny and extreme. I am genuinely truly sorry. If I could take it back I would."
"I mean that, you know, yesterday he was a hero. You know, the world loved us. Today, the world hates us.”
Alright everyone this is a tough situation. But, and again, we don’t know all the facts, but I would be personally shocked to find out Keaton was not being bullied. I do 100% believe that he’s been a victim of bullying and I think that’s what everyone needs to focus on because that’s what we can control in the world around us. That said, if you see someone else being bullied please stand up and say something. IF you’re being bullied please don’t be afraid to ask for help.
