A motion to delay the ratification process of the Trans Pacific Partnership Agreement was tabled and debated by the Dewan Rakyat Wednesday evening. Motion to sign and ratify the Trans Pacific Partnership Agreement was later passed after a bloc vote with 127 backbenchers voting in favour of the pact; while 84 opposition MPs voted against the motion.
