Serdang MP Ong Kian Ming has claimed there are several MPs with fake degrees and suggested that lawmakers with doctorate degrees prove that their qualifications were genuine to give a good impression to the public.
When Deputy Higher Education Minister Mary Yap concurred with Ong, saying she was all for academic integrity and called for those with evidence to lodge reports so that the ministry and police could take action, Ong replied that he would provide the evidence.
