Muhyiddin: Not daydreaming on PM candidacy, will public pick court cluster instead?

Perikatan Nasional chairperson Muhyiddin Yassin stands by PN’s decision to name him their prime minister candidate if they win, this came following claims from BN chairperson Ahmad Zahid Hamidi that PN is “daydreaming”.

In response, Muhyiddin says the decision made by PN’s top leadership is a realistic choice that has a basis.

“If the future prime minister is part of the court cluster or is an ex-convict, would the people want to choose them? Or would they think ‘abah’ (Muhyiddin) is good?” he questions, in reference to Zahid and Pakatan Harapan’s Anwar Ibrahim.
