Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Dr Mujahid Yusof Rawa has denied issuing a statement, saying that the persecution of Uighur Muslims in China was “false news”.
According to Dr Mujahid, news portal Free Malaysia Today had misinterpreted his speech text, which was delivered at the Beijing Foreign Studies University on June 28.
