Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir has been sworn in as Kedah Mentri Besar to lead the formation of a Pakatan Harapan minority state government. The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Istana Anak Bukit before Kedah ruler Sultan Sallehuddin Sultan Badlishah about 4pm on Friday. In GE14, Pakatan Harapan won 18 out of the 36 seats in the state the assembly while Barisan Nasional, which was in power, only three. PAS secured 15 seats.
