Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak has congratulated Sungai Besar Umno chief Jamal Md Yunos for operating the Gabungan NGO 1Malaysia restaurant in Kuala Lumpur which provides free food.
Najib visited the restaurant for lunch today, which is run by 15 volunteers.
Patrons are not restricted in their food amount but are required to wash their own plates after eating.
The restaurant operates every weekday from 11am to 3pm and is located along Jalan Pahang in Kuala Lumpur.
