Prime Minister Najib Razak says that the government is looking for ways to reduce government expenditure, citing several examples where the government sector has been successfully able to cut down on costs.
This was in response to a question from Rantau Panjang MP Siti Zailah Mohd Yusoff who asked if the government is working to reduce expenditure, citing an example of ministries with overlapping responsibilities that incur extra spending.
