Barisan Nasional (BN) chairperson Najib Abdul Razak said that if the federal ruling coalition captures Penang in the 14th General Election, he'll make sure the chief minister is from a BN component party other than Umno.
Najib said BN respects the principle of power-sharing and the state has always been a testament to the coalition's commitment to that principle.
Najib said this during his visit to Penang on Thursday.
