Should Malaysia cancel the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project, China would likely respond by barring its tourists from Malaysia and stop importing Malaysian palm oil, warned BN leader Najib Abdul Razak.
At an election campaign stop in Kuala Berang, Terengganu, on Friday, Najib said the ECRL contractor, the China Communications Construction Company (CCCC), is fully-owned by the Chinese government.
