Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said the Government is concerned with the trend among cancer patients of seeking alternative treatments that have not been scientifically proven.
Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said doing so actually worsened their health conditions, adding that seeking a proper medical treatment was vital.
Dr Wan Azizah, who is also Women Development, Family and Community Minister said that when launching the War on Cancer campaign on Thursday.
