Nearly 1000 opposition bloc supporters were present to protest against the decision to grant a release without an acquittal against the Deputy Prime Minister, Ahmad Zahid Hamidi from 47 charges of corruption, abuse of power and money laundering in relation to Yayasan Akalbudi case.

The rally began at 1:3opm from Kampung Baru, where participants marches towards Sogo Shopping Mall Complex.

The opposition leaders have also expressed criticism and objections to the Government's policies and decisions on current issues.

Numerous of participants were seen wearing 'Save Malaysia' headbands sold on the roadside, chanting the slogan "Tolak Zahid!", "Dakwa Zahid!" "Reformati!" and "Beras Dah Mahal!" (rice is expensive).
