Muda deputy president Amira Aisya Abd Aziz said the court's decision on Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi's charges has shown the unity government's seriousness in fighting misconduct.
Speaking in a press conference this afternoon, Amira said the unity government has crossed a red line and urged their MPs to issue a statement on the matter.
Amira questioned why a person who had faced 47 charges in court and had been tried for four years in a case that had almost reached the finish line would have the charges withdrawn when the prosecution had established prima facie.
