Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said he will announce the new salary scheme for civil servants before the end of next year.
At an awards ceremony in Putrajaya yesterday, he said by the end of this year, the government aims to provide some guidelines to facilitate the new scheme.
Anwar added that the study would take some time to complete and a special one-off allowance of RM2,000 will be given to civil servants and RM1,000 for retirees, as announced in Budget 2024.
