Three camping sites located in the landslide area in Batang Kali were operating without licences.

Local Government Development Minister Nga Kor Ming said the operator could face a maximum of three years imprisonment and be slapped with a RM50,000 fine if convicted.

Confirming that the operators were permitted to open organic farms, Nga claims that they had not submitted an application to establish camping grounds.
