Niall Horan puts Katy Perry on blast after she claims he always tries to flirt with her
It all started yesterday when the world got wind of a radio interview Katy Perry did with Nova 96.9’s Fitzy & Wippa show. Katy talked about her relationship with Niall Horan saying QUOTE, “I see him around all the time - he’s always trying to like get my number, to maybe like flirt with me but I’m like, ‘I can babysit you! I’m like your mum.’”
I guess that didn’t sit too well with Niall because he’s now blasted Katy’s remarks. Here’s what the 1D member told The Project show.
As you saw Niall clapped back at Katy with an equally cheeky response. The singer ended by setting the record straight on his feelings for her- take a look.
If you recall, Katy is part of the reason why Niall ended up in One Direction and is where he is in his career today. Back when Niall auditioned on The X Factor UK as as solo artist, Katy was a judge on the show and had the deciding vote to put Niall through to the next round.
In his TV interview, Niall added that Katy is one of his favorite people ever and he thinks she’s hilarious. When one of the hosts asked him about the ‘babysitter’ comment Niall joked, “I mean, she is talking like she is about 55 years older than me. She is not that much older than me.” If you need a refresher, Niall is 23 and Katy is 32.
