Hold up guys we’ve got some BREAKING NEWS – The Queen of rap herself, Nicki Minaj, says she’s retiring

What’s up guys it’s Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News and it’s a sad day here at the Clevver office because Nicki Minaj claims that she is retiring

She tweeted “I’ve decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me. X in the box – cuz ain’t nobody checking me. Love you for life”
Obviously, fans, like us, are beside themselves

Like this one who said “quit playing and delete this”
or “This ain’t funny onika!”
But me? I’m still holding onto hope

Because right now that’s all I can do

I mean, she didn’t say what she was retiring FROM

Maybe she’s just retiring from Queen Radio
Or from her illustrious movie career …. You know, Angry Birds?
okay yeah I’m grasping at straws here

But there were rumors that Nicki would be coming out with new music sometime soon!

So maybe this is a trick to tease something big coming up

I don’t know. I gotta admit it makes sense.

She’s getting married soon
And she has said before that she wants kids
Not to mention this Instagram post from earlier today of nicki in her feelings about her past self
She said “I wish I could go back in time & hug this lil girl. Used to be the #SweetestGirl”
So this might really be it for the Queen
At least for a little while.

Only time will tell. But in the meantime I’m going to remain cautiously optimistic
