Miley Cyrus is loving Nicki Minaj’s new song. In a short video slip, the singer was seen dancing away to “Chun Li,” one of Nicki’s recently released singles.
Miley got her twerk on in a red, white and blue sparkly minidress complete with pigtails and American flag cowboy boots. She looked like she was fully enjoying her 4th of July celebrations, which seemed pretty lowkey.
Now Miley and Nicki haven’t always been the best of friends. Back in 2015, Miley criticized the way Nicki handled her lack of a VMA nomination for the “Anaconda” music video. Nicki didn’t like that, and she famously called Miley out on live TV when she said, QUOTE: “And now, back to this b**** that had a lot to say about me the other day in the press, Miley, what’s good?"
The awkward moment became one of the years most hilarious memes, but it seems there’s no bad blood anymore; well, at least on Miley’s side.
And while Miley’s twerking to “Chun Li,” Nicki’s been busy filming the music video for her new song, “Bed,” a collaboration with Ariana Grande. The official teaser dropped a few weeks ago, with Nicki and Ari looking seductive as they splashed around in a sudsy pool. But Nicki gave fans yet another look yesterday when she posted a bunch of behind-the-scenes pictures and videos of her in a full mermaid costume. She hinted that the music video will drop today, and we can’t wait to see it.
