'Not my call' - Fahmi denies ordering for Ridhuan Tee to be barred from TV programme

Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil has denied that he issued an order to ban preacher Ridhuan Tee Abdullah from appearing on a programme on TV1.

In a press conference today, Fahmi said that it wasn't his call and that the show ‘Forum Perdana Ehwal Islam', which is broadcast on RTM is not under his jurisdiction.

Previously, it was reported that Ridhuan had said that he received a notice from RTM that he was not allowed to appear on TV1 under the Minister’s orders.
