Wooden Peranakan clogs are transformed into works of art at Gee's Original shop at Malacca's Jonker Street. The artist behind this new look clogs is Wooi Loke Gee, a graphic art graduate of KL College of Art . Call it a reinvention or a twist, but every one of his hand-painted originals are one-of-its-kind and never-to-be-reproduced designs. indeed each is functional, unique and ideal souvenirs and gifts. They are sold at RM48 to RM 150 depending on design. His favourite is the one with Bruce Lee. "Bruce Lee never fails to cheer me up", said Gee.
