One Direction Fan Faction Movie Headed to Theaters!

As if Directioners weren’t the most dedicated fans in the world, they now have even more to look forward to with new music, new tour dates and EVEN a brand fan fiction new movie.
That’s right, guys, one die-hard 1D fan’s dream is being turned into a reality as her One Direction fan fiction novel will be coming to life on the big screen…
The novel was written on the famous fan-fiction website by first time author Anna Todd and was a complete breakout hit on the Toronto-community portion of the site, where she would post one chapter at a time, eventually creating an entire novel, she titled After.
The novel-turned movie just got the green light by Paramount who has acquired the screen rights, and the main character is rumored to center around “a womanizing boyfriend based on Harry Styles and the main character, Tessa Young who is an 18 year old college student with a simple life, excellent grades and a sweet boyfriend. She always has things planned out ahead of time, until she meets a rude boy named Harry, with too many tattoos and piercings who shatters her plans."
Anna took to Twitter to share the news about the novel which has reached over 1 billion views on Wattpadd, saying QUOTE, "In case you haven't heard... Paramount acquired the rights to After!!! I am so happy and so excited to. I'm trying to keep up with all these amazing tweets and it's just so thank you guys for everything!"
Wattpad’s general manager Candice Factor also spoke out about the news saying QUOTE, “After has a massive built-in audience that was cultivated on Wattpad. This deal means millions of fans are one step closer to realizing their dream of seeing After brought to life on the big screen.”
However, things aren’t exactly smooth sailing, and some Directioners are not exactly thrilled with the fact that the author is basing a rude character on Harry Styles. The hashtag #SuspendAnnaTodd was even created in response to Harry’s character, but Anna was quick to clear that up, saying he wouldn’t be seen on the big screen and that QUOTE, "Harry's name would not stay the same in a movie/book. He would not be involved."
BUT all minor problems aside, seeing that this is how Fifty Shades of Grey started out as a Twilight fan fiction novel, I’m thinkin it’s bound to be the next big thing.
