One Direction is touring the world, selling books, releasing new music… and curing cancer? Oh my gosh, guys, this was too sweet to NOT share!

So this week, an Irish newspaper interviewed this adorable girl’s mom about her pretty incredible recovery. This time last year, Alexandra Johnston was given 6-12 months to live and now she’d back at school and IN REMISSION! OK, already: kudos to this girl- she’s a total BOSS, right? Anyway, her mom says that it was both the power of prayer and her undying love for 1D that totally kept Alex going. She saw the boys 3 times when she was at her sickest and even got to meet the them through the Make A Wish Foundation!
