Friday's the Rightday... no idea what that means, but just go with it. This week is a true tale of David & Golliath, as Rixton takes on One Direction! All the boys are hot, all the boys are talented, all the boys are from the UK but who will take home the prize!? Well, we'll just have to see, now won't we? Ready, set, battle it out!

Alrighty, so before we get to this battle, here today, I have to give a shout out to 5 Seconds of Summer for winning last week's battle against Ed Sheeran, but seriously... there were a lot of comments from people who just couldn't decide! It was a very very close one.

Coming first to the ring this week is Rixton! I know they're still new to the scene, but they're really picking up some steam. They're working with Scooter Braun, of the Katy Perry, Justin Bieber and The Wanted fame, so... uh, no big deal there, right? Wrong. It's super awesome. The guys also played Wango Tango this year and had Ed Sheeran write a track, "Hotel Ceiling," for their EP. These guys clearly have the talent and have the connections!

Also, they played their second LA show at The Roxy and guess who went and sang her heart out on her birthday? Yes. It was Me. You guessed it right. YOU'RE SO SMART!

But now onto the big fish: One Direction has been busy busy busy, doing what? Oh, just adventuring through a world tour and gently breaking all of their fans hearts by NOT filming a follow-up documentary. This week, the director from This Is Us confirmed a movie and the world collectively screamed... and then it was taken away from us when Columbia Records denied the claim. I'm still not really OK, but I'll never stop hoping for a sequel! I'll wait for you forever, boys.

1D also recently finished up the South American tour of their Where We Are Tour and will happily play Niall Horan's Home Country of Ireland and he's stoked! He tweeted "Love you lots ! great way to start the 'where we are ' tour! Next stop my home show! Can't believe I'm saying this! 'Croke park' baby ! Xxxx" Measures have already been put in place to ensure that fans don't flood the place or "Queue Up" days beforehand. Serious stuff!
