Sounds like every Directioner’s worst nightmare is coming true. Just weeks after One Direction went on their hiatus; a report is now claiming that the guys are planning on going in separate directions…for good.
Say it ain’t so! A recent report is claiming that One Direction’s hiatus will eventually turn into a permanent break, but before we all freak out, is it true or just a silly rumor?
Let’s start off with the report that kinda sorta sent the fandom into a frenzy. US Weekly reported that a source close to the group revealed that the guys decided QUOTE, “Not to review their recording contract” after they wrapped up their On the Road Again tour back in October. The source continued to say QUOTE, “The 1D thing just ran its course. They’ll remain friends, but they are exhausted and want solo careers.” Wanting solo careers is totally understandable since all the guys initially auditioned to become solo artists on the X Factor, but are they really breaking up for good?
According to Gossip Cop, they aren’t! A rep for the band revealed to the website that the allegations of a break up are simply QUOTE, “not true.” But, you can definitely expect a couple of the guys to launch solo careers very soon.
The initial source at Us Weekly revealed to the mag that QUOTE, “Harry is launching a career in acting and singing.” While another insider told the magazine, “Liam is really interested in songwriting and production.” The singer has dabbled in some music production while being in 1D, so that’s not really surprising at all. But Liam isn’t just working on his producing skills. TMZ also reported a couple days ago that Liam will be singing and dropping bars on the tracks he’s been working on with Juicy J.
So, there you have it! The guys aren’t breaking up just yet, they’re all just working on their own thing for now. But I want to hear from you!
