Oprah Thinking About Running for President?

The 75th Golden Globes were last night and although Seth Meyers was the host, Oprah Winfrey was the center of attention. From the very beginning of the night Oprah was getting tons of special shout-outs.
During his opening monologue, Seth made a joke about apparently Donald Trump decided to run for President after so many people said he was unqualified. He then went on stare at Oprah and say QUOTE “Oprah you will never be President”, hoping that it will have the same effect.
Although Oprah laughed and shook her head at the cheers for her to run for President, it may actually come true.
Two source close to Oprah revealed to CNN News that Oprah is QUOTE “actively thinking” about running for President. The sources also said that some of Oprah’s personal friends have been privately urging her to seriously think about running for months now but Oprah has yet to make a definite decision.
This spike in interest to see Oprah run for office came after her incredible speech after becoming the first Black Woman to accept the Cecil B. DeMille Award last night.
In her speech, Oprah called for action and gave us all a vision of hope for the brighter days ahead. She is a strong supporter of the Time’s Up initiative and her powerful words were contagious. We’re pretty sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the room by the time she was finished.
A new day is on the horizon sounds like a PRETTY good campaign slogan to us.
