Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin has lamented the breakdown in physical distancing for Covid-19 at Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob's 100-day report card event yesterday.
He said the organisers have been slapped with an RM1,000 compound under the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act (Act 342) for failing to ensure physical distancing.
He stressed that RM1,000 is the maximum fine allowed under Act 342.
