#KiniNews: PN fined by MOH for Muhyiddin event, Kelantan criminalises sorcery

[KiniNews] The Health Ministry has issued compounds over activities attended by Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairperson Muhyiddin Yassin and former Umno president Najib Abdul Razak in Malacca.

In a statement today, the ministry said investigations by the state Health Department found that both former prime ministers had not attended any gatherings related to the forthcoming Malacca election, but rather held "walkabouts".

Meanwhile, in a separate development, Kelantan's Syariah Criminal Code (I) Enactment 2019, which came into force yesterday, criminalises 24 new offences.

Among others, the law criminalises sorcery, falsely claiming to be a prophet, attempting to renounce Islam, necrophilia, bestiality, having tattoos, disobeying parents, gambling, under-weighing goods and homosexual activities.
