Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) president and Pagoh MP Muhyiddin Yassin said that he was surprised and disappointed at being barred from holding a function at a mosque in Tangkak, Johor.
Muhyiddin was to attend a function at Masjid An-Nur in Pekan Kundang Ulu yesterday, where he planned to provide rice and other contributions to the representatives of mosques and madrassahs within his constituency.
Speaking at the new location of the event, which was at a house not far from the mosque, he said he was surprised as usually the function was hosted at the mosque and this was the first time that this had occured.
