The Prime Minister is confident that the PADU system launched today will help to avoid leakages in the distribution of government aid and subsidies.

Anwar Ibrahim said the distribution of subsidies without a digital approach will only lead to the ultra-rich and foreigners benefiting from them.

He pointed out that the total amount of subsidies given by the government has reached RM80 billion, and it's unlikely that Malaysia can sustain the country's finances if this issue is not addressed.
