The opposition would become even stronger if PKR and Parti Pribumi Bersatu (Bersatu) leave the Pakatan Harapan coalition to join a third bloc, claimed PAS.
Its vice president Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah reportedly said such a scenario would give the opposition a better chance of defeating BN in the 14th general election.
“If the two parties are with the third bloc (Gagasan Sejahtera) headed by PAS, the opposition’s strength would increase by several folds compared to Pakatan Harapan.
