PAS is seen to be taking a wait-and-see attitude regarding the effect of the constitutional amendment made by Bersatu to prevent more of its elected representatives from supporting the government.
Its vice president Mohd Amar Abdullah however said that the matter has to be approved by the Registrar of Societies (ROS), and the process will take a long time.
Even so, Mohd Amar said, PAS is ready to move its machinery as it should if the seats become vacant and by-elections take place.
