PAS has called on the government to enact an anti-hopping law to prevent elected representatives from deserting their parties, they also called for a law to prevent elected representatives from vacating their seats arbitrarily.
Pas deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said that a seat should only be vacated for reasons such as death or if the MP has been declared bankrupt.
