Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah said he requested for his seat in the Dewan Rakyat be moved to the independent bloc because he was following his party's wishes.

In a letter to Dewan Rakyat Speaker Azhar Azizan Harun earlier this week, Razaleigh said he was never a supporter of the Perikatan Nasional government.
