In response to Penang Barisan Nasional’s criticism, Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said if Pakatan Harapan is voted into power in Putrajaya, they cannot abolish the toll on the second Penang Bridge because the investment in the project cannot be recovered yet.
